HOUSED!

new york was cold. but wicked awesome! the gates were pretty wicked but i think my expectations were too high after everything everyone had said. it was very cold. and windy. and cold. i think i appreciated the beauty of central park more than that of the gates; however, had it been warmer i'm sure i would have liked it more.

we went to find somewhere to eat at union sq. chloe found a pretty good place. good call chloe! the we went and had some rice pudding at rice to riches. Man, that stuff is wicked awesome. we then went to all the thrift stores and vintage clothing stores in lower manhattan to find shoes for the west side story, more importantly to waste time. Oh! i also got some scarves and a hat from urban outfitters, some of which were FIFTY CENTS! 70 sumthin and broadway. keep in mind each store has a different sale depending how each item is selling at that store.

the went to the MOMA and waited a line to get in for free. saw some famous things like Starry Night and Persistance of Memory. i never realised how small some of dali's paintings were. they had two both of which were not much bigger than this computer screen. i also got a free poster of a bunch of people who either commited suicide by shooting themselves or were shot by someone else, usually someone they knew.

came home and went to fridays with people. i still gotta pay back emily. oops! soon...

gotta work today. not looking forward to it, but money is good to have.

lookin for somethin to do after work at 10 so call me!
